⚠️ Migration from GuitarTapp Pro using the method described below is not possible anymore. Refer to the Chords.wiki documentation for up-to-date instructions ⚠️
Many current GuitarTapp users have already found their way to Chords.wiki - but if you haven't yet, please make sure to migrate your songs and setlists to the new app now.
The original deadline of January 1, 2025 has been extended to August 1, 2025, so this is your last chance! Follow the instructions in the step-by-step migration guide and you'll be done in no time. Migration only takes 5 to 10 minutes of your time.
Why you should migrate now
The GuitarTapp Pro services - including cloud sync and song search - will be permanently discontinued after August 1, 2025. After that date, you will no longer be able to:
- Search for new songs through GuitarTapp Pro
- Sync your library across devices using GuitarTapp
- Import your GuitarTapp library into Chords.wiki
Your locally saved songs will remain on your device, but everything cloud-connected will stop working.
What you get with Chords.wiki
Chords.wiki is the modern successor to GuitarTapp Pro, built from the ground up with everything that GuitarTapp did well - plus much more:
- All platforms: iOS, Android, Windows, Mac, and any browser
- Real-time sync across all your devices
- Installable as a PWA - no app store needed
- Books and setlists for organizing your library
- Offline access - practice and perform anywhere at any time
- Easy band sharing with role-based rights
For a limited period of time, former GuitarTapp users receive a generous discount on the Pro membership as a thank-you for your long-time support.
