I'm excited to announce that the brand-new version of GuitarTapp is now available!
It addresses many of the issues found in GuitarTapp Pro and ChordPro, introduces exciting new features, and will fully replace the old apps in the coming weeks. After being thoroughly tested by over 1,000 users during development, it's safe to say it's ready for everyone to enjoy.
Why upgrade?
The new app - called Chords.wiki - works on all platforms and includes enhanced functionality like real-time syncing across multiple devices. You can import your current favorites to test-drive the new app without affecting your existing library.
It's installable directly from the website at chords.wiki, making it feel just like an app from the App Store - but without needing to go through an app store.
What's new in Chords.wiki
- Cross-platform: Works on iOS, Android, Windows, macOS, Amazon Fire, Linux, Raspberry Pi and in any browser
- Real-time sync: Your library stays in sync across all your devices automatically
- Progressive Web App: Install directly from the browser - no App Store or Google Play needed
- Improved library: Organize songs in books and setlists with more flexibility
- Better search: Faster, more accurate song and artist search
- Offline access: Your saved songs are available even without an internet connection
- Import from GuitarTapp: Bring your entire library over in just a few minutes
The community
For quick support, migration instructions, updates, and promotions, I invite you to join our Chords.wiki user group on Facebook - already 2,000+ members strong!
Not on Facebook? No worries - you can also join our Discord server for the latest info. Both channels are actively monitored and are the best place to get quick responses.
Migration timeline
It's important to migrate your library soon, as the current GuitarTapp services - including song search - will be discontinued. Don't worry: you'll have free access to Chords.wiki during this transition period, and as a loyal GuitarTapp user, you'll receive a generous discount on the Pro membership as a thank-you for your long-time support.
